Welcome to our website, Swiss Food! We are pleased to offer international shipping of our products to various parts of the world through the Swiss postal service, as well as via couriers such as DPD, DHL, and FedEx.

Shipping prices are automatically calculated based on your country and the products added to your cart. The prices can be viewed on the cart and checkout pages.

Shipping Types

 

Swiss Post Priority and Priority Plus (for packages up to 2Kg):

  • Swiss Post regular: This untracked shipping option is ideal for small packages up to 2Kg, ensuring a swift and efficient service.
  • Swiss Post Priority Plus: For those who desire added security, we offer Priority Plus with a tracking service, thus ensuring maximum transparency in the journey of your package.

PostPac International (Swiss Post):

For packages weighing over 2Kg, we exclusively use the Swiss Post’s PostPac International. This option ensures a reliable and secure service for your international shipments.

 

 

DPD (Courier available only within Europe):

DPD offers a reliable express courier service exclusively for shipments within Europe. Known for its efficiency and speed, DPD ensures your packages are delivered safely and promptly.

 

 

FedEx Priority Shipments:

For urgent deliveries, we offer FedEx shipping services. This premium option is available for select countries including the USA, UK, and UAE, providing a fast and highly reliable shipping solution for your urgent needs.

DHL Express (Worldwide Tracked Shipping):

Experience swift and secure delivery to global destinations with DHL Express’s worldwide shipping services, complete with comprehensive tracking capabilities. While this service ensures your parcels reach their destination promptly and safely, please note that duties and taxes are not pre-paid. This allows you to have transparency and control over any additional customs processes, ensuring your international shipments are handled with utmost care and precision.

You can select your preferred shipping type directly within the shopping cart.

Preparation Time

Orders are swiftly prepared and shipped within 72 hours from Monday to Friday, excluding Swiss public holidays.

For items on “backorder,” allow up to an additional 10 days for procurement. All items in your order are shipped together to ensure a streamlined delivery. Please consider these timeframes, along with estimated shipping durations, to gauge when your order will arrive. For any questions or updates on your order’s status, feel free to contact us. We’re here to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of your Swiss delicacies.

Tracking Shipments

All of our shipments are tracked and packages can be tracked as they travel to the destination country. We encourage you to use the tracking number provided during shipment to track your package.

Please keep in mind that shipping times may vary from country to country and the timelines displayed during purchase are approximate only.

Import and Duties

Duties and taxes vary depending on the destination country and the type of shipment:

  • Postal Shipments: For shipments made via postal service, duties are generally the responsibility of the recipient and depend on the country of destination.

  • Shipments in the EU (up to 150€ of goods): For shipments to the EU valued up to 150€, duties and VAT are already included.

  • DHL with DDP (Delivery Duty Paid): For shipments made via DHL courier, we provide the option of Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) service upon request. This service, wherein duties and taxes are included in the shipping price, can be arranged through a tailored quotation to meet your specific needs, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free delivery process. Please contact us for a personalized quote if you wish to utilize the DDP service.

Swiss Food is committed to ensuring that all transactions and shipments comply with Swiss and international laws and regulations. However, customers are encouraged to check compliance with the laws and regulations of their own country before making a purchase. Swiss Food is not responsible for any legal issues that may arise during delivery of products outside Switzerland.

Swiss Food is responsible for the products up to the first point of contact of the postal/courier service within the Swiss territory.

The customer is responsible for importing the products into their own country.

If a package is not delivered and is returned, the customer is responsible for the return. Swiss Food will not be held responsible for not receiving the package.
